Handmade Market Pop Up

  • Posted on July 5, 2012 at 6:16 PM

This weekend you will find me at the Handmade Market Pop Up Market at Hornsby Westfield. The market will be on all day Saturday and Sunday on the walkway up the top between the food court and the other centre.

Come and say hi, check out what I’ve been creating and maybe even get some tools and kits to make your own!

Remember, I sell books, bamboo paper bead rollers, kits, quilling tools and a full range of sizes in papers to help you create your own pieces. If you prefer ready made, I have cards, hair clips, bookmarks, photo frames and jewellery, If you are after anything special, I can make to order too. Just ask!

See you then!

Bear Cards

  • Posted on February 24, 2011 at 8:05 PM

I thought I would start posting some pictures of some of the stock I am preparing for the Craft Fair and that I will be stocking as part of my normal range.

The Fair I will be trading at on March 5-6 is a Doll, Bear and Craft Fair, so I thought some Bear cards might be popular. The “normal” sized ones (C6) are not quilled but have a lovely soft teddy on them and the smaller gift sized one has a wooden teddy bear in the centre and quilled coils in the corners. They are ideal for a new baby, birthday or just because. I tend not to put sentiment greetings on my cards as I like people to be able to use them for what they would like or think appropriate. I have often found a card I really like the design of but have not been able to find a use for as the greeting was wrong. Once these cards sell, they won’t be stocked as I can’t get some of the supplies anymore :(

If you are in the area of Blacktown Leisure Centre on that weekend, come and say hello! Feel free to buy something too!

Valentine's Day Card Swap

Happy Valentine’s Day!

I have just participated in my first international card swap through Fave Crafts and Swap-Bot. We had to make 3 Valentine’s Day cards to send to 3 different people. I made all the one design, simple but elegant using metallic Violet Red and Quartz papers. I cut the quilling strips myself to match the background piece. Two hearts side by side <3 Hopefully the postal systems will get them all there in time!

I hope my recipients like them and I can’t wait to receive mine.

Stamp Stash De-Stash

  • Posted on November 2, 2010 at 1:13 PM

Ok, the time has come to really be sensible about what craft things I stash! The excess is stifling my creativity :( !! It is time to de-stash some of my rubber stamps – all Stampin Up! brand – that I have bought with all sorts of great intentions and ideas but have either never used or maybe used once before having great intentions and ideas for another set!

I will be listing them with a photo and price on my Facebook page under the Photos tag. At this stage, I can only offer them to Australian residents who can pay by direct deposit. If you would like more than one set, I will try to combine them in one parcel and let you know the final price.

Please feel free to ask about any of the stamps.

If you don’t have access to Facebook and you are interested in any stamps, please let me know and I will see what I can do for you.

Here is a sample.

Quilled Fringed Flower Card

  • Posted on August 30, 2010 at 7:01 PM

Over at ArtEZan, I have some everyday quilled cards for sale as well. Here is one of them, a pink flower made by hand fringing the petals. This card would be lovely for a birthday, thank you, or even just to send to a friend to say “thinking of you”.

Father’s Day Cards

Father's Day Painting ©Belinda Fox 2010

Father’s Day is on Sunday, 5th September this year. [Why it's not Fathers' Day (with the apostrophe indicating plural) I still don't understand. Yes, it is celebrating your single father but it is multiple fathers being celebrated]. Anyway… wherever the apostrophe goes, I have made some cards (not as many as I’d hoped due to family reasons) for this day and if, like me, you don’t particularly like the selection in the shops, head on over to ArtEZan where you can buy one of my original designs. I have other cards, not just Father’s Day there too.
